20 May is World Bee Day, a celebration of these amazing animals and the critical role played by bees and other pollinators in maintaining biodiversity and contributing to food security. To mark the day, Earth Institute members and bee and pollinator experts Dara Stanley and Brian Tobin from the School of Agriculture and Food Science will be leading a lunchtime campus walk where you can find out more about wild pollinators, honeybees, and how UCD is engaging with the All Ireland Pollinator Plan. The walk starts at 1pm from the Chess Garden next to the lake and all are welcome.
